Rev. Brian Lise considers it a true blessing to serve on the Board of Governors with the Canadian Bible Society. Brian was born in Holland and moved to Canada with his parents at age 9. After graduation from Mohawk College, he married Rita and began his career working for ten years in the electrical engineering field, including managing a cable TV company in St John, New Brunswick.
In 1980, Brian began ministry as a fundraising representative with the Bible League in Toronto. He was then ordained in 1991 at Bradford Baptist Church and moved to British Columbia with his family to join Pacific Island Ministry. From 1995 to 2005, Brian accepted the position as Vice President of Development for Partners International in Brampton, Ontario. Then, from 2005 until 2012, he became Executive Director of Eurovangelism in Mississauga, Ontario.
Brian and Rita entered retirement in 2012, moving to Warman, Saskatchewan, where they enjoy their five daughters and eight grandchildren. They count it a joy to have travelled to over 50 countries and lead 21 work teams and vision trips over the years and to see and experience what the Lord is doing around the world.
