Capt. Noel Asirvatham has been in the shipping industry for over 40 years. He has worked both at sea and ashore, currently serving as Regional Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Canada for Westwood Shipping Lines.
Hatfield Point, New Brunswick
Dr. Marsha Boyd-Mitchell wants to see the Word of God made available in many ways to make a profound difference both nationally and internationally. Dr. Boyd-Mitchell joined the Canadian Bible Society recently this year and serves as the Secretary for the CBS Board of Governors.
Tom was born and raised in Toronto, where he lived until he moved to Oakville in his mid 20’s, and met and married his wife Mary. After their boys left home and Mary retired in 2003, they moved to a smaller home in Fergus, Ontario where they still reside, enjoying their time with their two grandsons who live nearby.
Pierre Cloutier joined the Canadian Bible Society’s Board of Governors in June 2019. Pierre has been in the academic profession since 1990, teaching a wide variety of subjects including English, Ethics and Morality, Journalism and Religious Culture.
When Rev Robert Graham graduated from Anderson School of Theology with a Masters of Divinity in 1980, he met and married Beverley, and they began ministry in Northern Ontario. He then joined the Canadian Bible Society Northern District board after his first pastorate in North Bay, Ontario.
Rev. Dr. Francis J. Guinta joined the Canadian Bible Society Board of Governors in June 2019. An ordained Minister with the Convention Atlantic Baptist Churches, Frank is now serving as the Interim Pastor at Timberlea Baptist Church in Timberlea, Nova Scotia.
Rev. Brian Lise considers it a true blessing to serve on the Board of Governors with the Canadian Bible Society. Brian was born in Holland and moved to Canada with his parents at age 9.
Mathew Maniate was born to Christian parents in Kerala, India. At the age of six, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour through a visiting evangelist who stayed at their home. After completing university, he went to Bombay to work as an accountant with Inter-Mission Business Office, a Christian organization.
Truro, Nova Scotia
Rev. Paul Worden from Truro, Nova Scotia, joined the CBS Board of Governors with a deep desire to be a changemaker for God’s Word both locally and globally.
Beverly Daniels is the President of the Bermuda Bible Society and represents the Bermuda Society as a guest on the Board of Governors for the Canadian Bible Society.
