Amie Wiebe is one of the millions of people whose life was changed because of God’s Word. It was through reading the Bible when she came to know about the saving knowledge of Jesus. That was in 1999. Since then, Amie has been passionate about sharing the Good News to others.
Amie served as coordinator of NeighbourLink Vancouver in 2001 before she and her husband left the country to follow the Lord’s leading – first to start a Christian school in South Korea, then intern at a church in Bellingham, and later to finish her husband’s studies in Regent. Amie and her husband, Dustan, returned to British Columbia in 2005. Her passion for God’s Word led her to the ministry of the Canadian Bible Society.
“Until the Lord sends me anywhere else, CBS is where I am staying,” says Amie.
Amie is one of the people behind the success of the Bike for Bibles events in British Columbia. Bike for Bibles is an annual event that enables Amie to do two of the things that she is most passionate about: provide God’s Word to those who need it most and participate in outdoor activities. Apart from helping plan and promote Bike for Bibles, Amie and Dustan participate yearly as riders, helping to raise funds for the Bible work in Canada and around the world.
If they are not busy with the Lord’s work in British Columbia, Amie and Dustan are overseas, on short-term missions, sharing God’s love to those who have yet to hear about it.
Amie and her husband Dustan resides in Richmond, BC in their floathome with their dog Moka.
