Tom was born and raised in Toronto, where he lived until he moved to Oakville in his mid 20s, and met and married his wife Mary. After their boys left home and Mary retired in 2003, they moved to a smaller home in Fergus, Ontario where they still reside, enjoying their time with their two grandsons who live nearby.
Throughout his career, Tom worked in industrial sales management selling industrial products to automotive parts manufacturers. He has travelled extensively throughout Canada and Mexico in this capacity. He has been retired since 2007.
Tom has remained active in his retirement. He has served as the Chair of The Door Youth Centre and was on the local board of Youth for Christ. He is currently an elder and trustee at St. Andrew’s Church in Fergus, volunteers at a local assisted living home, and drives a local bus for the disabled.
Tom has a compelling desire to see God’s Word made available to all who want it in their own language. He has been a member of the Centre Wellington Branch Canadian Bible Society for the past four years and serves as their treasurer. Tom now serves as the CBS BOG Treasurer.
