Happy New Year and welcome to the winter 2014 issue of Word@Work. Launching into a new year is always exciting. Regardless of your age, there’s something invigorating about a fresh calendar with days, weeks and months stretched out ahead of you – each representing new opportunities and unexplored possibilities.

“. . .because of your generosity, we are able to reach thousands of children with the message of the Gospel . . .”

Ted
In this newsletter, we will be taking a look at some of our upcoming work in 2014 that is specifi cally targeted towards ministering to children. At CBS our hearts ache for these precious young lives. Thankfully, because of your generosity, we are able to reach thousands of children with the message of the Gospel through the distribution of God’s Word in Canada and around the world.

During my trip to Uruguay, I was able to visit the Grow and Learn project, where I witnessed God working in the lives of people living in one of the most secular countries in the world. Also in this issue, we will be sharing news about how the Bible is making a difference in the lives of children and youth in Egypt.

On behalf of the staff and volunteers here at CBS, we thank you for your devotion to partnering with us financially and in prayer. We wish you the best in the upcoming year.

Your friend and servant,
