2024 Impact Report | Strengthening commitment to translation

“After reading the Bible [in my own language], I felt a surge of strength and empowerment… as if I had awakened from the darkness and gained clarity.” — Bao, a rural Chinese Christian

Hearing God speak in one’s own language transforms people’s lives. Worship becomes more heartfelt, faith grows stronger, and outreach to neighbours more powerful. CBS is deeply committed to translation, to help more people hear God speak. New technology accelerates the process, but meticulous care with God’s Word remains paramount. In 2023, CBS donors empowered nine translation projects in eight countries. CBS also partners in sign-language and Braille translations.
