Cloud of Witnesses | Running the Race with Perseverance

Created for the National Prayer Breakfast, Cloud of Witnesses is a reflection on leadership shaped by faith. Drawing from Scripture and history, it invites those entrusted with responsibility to lift their eyes beyond the present moment and remember that they do not walk alone. They are part of a much longer story—one marked by God’s faithfulness and already in motion.

Surrounded by the witnesses who have gone before, may we draw strength from their example, look to Jesus and His Word, and continue the work set before us with perseverance and faith.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us.” — Hebrews 12:1
