Bibles for China’s Millions
Just 40 years ago the Bible was banned in China. Today, it is a best-seller. God has embraced China by preparing the way for His Word to penetrate hearts and bless the lives of thousands of Chinese men and women.
To date, over 180 million Bibles have rolled off the Amity printing press in China – the largest Bible printer in the world. This was possible through the help of Canadian Bible Society supporters who helped provide rolls of paper that Amity uses for printing Bibles.
Even though that number sounds astronomical, with a population of 1.3 billion, the need for more Bibles in China is still great – particularly in the poorest, remote villages.
Your gift today can make a lifetime of difference!
Help make the Bible available to millions more people by providing Bible paper for printing. The Amity presses have the capacity to print 20 million Bibles a year. That’s nearly a Bible a second. But the only way we can keep these presses rolling – and printing more Bibles for those so eager to read the gospel – is if we have enough paper.
Pray for China:
- For the millions of poor rural Christians in China who still do not have their own Bible.
- For each Christian who receives a copy of the Bible that they may read and understand the Word of God and be nurtured and transformed.
- For each non-believer or seeker who receives a copy of the Bible, that their heart will be opened to the Word of God.
- That the Word of God will help the reader to grow in his/her understanding and belief in Jesus Christ.
