IMAGINE
Insights, Impact & Inspiration
IMAGINE a future where everyone can hear God’s voice.
With dedicated partners, the Canadian Bible Society is realizing the vision of making the Bible accessible in the languages closest to people’s hearts, in a format easy for them to use, and with help to understand it for themselves. Together, we are fulfilling God’s call to unite people of every nation, tribe and language.
We are delighted to introduce Imagine, a new journal from the Canadian Bible Society. At its core, Imagine is about storytelling. Readers will be inspired by real-life accounts of individuals and communities whose faith has led them to create meaningful change. Imagine is designed to provide insight, share stories of impact, and offer inspiration from diverse Christian voices.
IMAGINE JOURNAL | Issue #1 | Faith and Art
In this first edition of Imagine designed for our esteemed partners, discover global and Canadian Scripture translation efforts, uncover the legacy of Scripture in Canada’s Parliament Buildings, and explore faith through art with Josh Tiessen. Plus, enjoy an inspiring interview with worship leader and songwriter Brian Doerksen and a devotional meditation by Ann Voskamp.
IMAGINE JOURNAL | Issue #2 | A Call to Scripture
This edition of Imagine is created for ministry leaders, church pastors, and CBS partners. It offers insight, powerful stories, and spiritual encouragement to support your work. Explore how we can respond to renewed interest in the Bible and re-engage with Scripture in a post-Christian Canada. Hear from trusted voices like Andrew Ollerton, Ken Shigematsu, and Brian Dijkema. Discover the Bible’s impact across cultures – from sign language translations in Cuba to Punjabi Bible revision efforts in Canada. Be inspired by Mike Janzen’s healing journey to the light of Scripture in Iqaluit. Reflect, connect, and reimagine how God’s Word can shape your life and leadership.
