Today’s guest is Kevin Garratt. He and his wife Julia are a Canadian Christian couple who were detained in China in 2014 and falsely accused of espionage. In this episode, seasoned journalist Lorna Dueck interviews Kevin about his time in a Chinese prison, and how God met him there through Scripture and some amazing miracles. Learn how Kevin untangled Scripture and was met with God’s love in a dark and desperate situation.

Kevin Garratt

Kevin Garratt is a graduate of the University of Toronto. Kevin and his wife, Julia moved to China, where they worked passionately for 30 years, assisting with education, humanitarian work, and Christian social enterprises. They were abducted and held for 2 years in a prison in China on false espionage charges. But as they quote out of Genesis 50:20, God meant it for good…
