Karen is an inspirational storyteller who has more than twenty-five million copies of her award-winning books in print and many of her novels under development with Hallmark Films and as major motion pictures. Karen Kingsbury talks about her faith journey and how she sees God at work through her as an author – who weaves her imagination around Holy Scripture – a speaker and now a filmmaker. With the formation of Karen Kingsbury Productions in June 2022, Karen and her team filmed their first theatrical feature, Someone Like You, which was released in theatres today, April 2nd, 2024.

In addition to being an author, speaker and filmmaker Karen Kingsbury is also an adjunct professor of writing at Liberty University. Karen’s series of Baxter Family books are being developed into a TV series slated for major network viewing sometime in the next year. In 2001 she and her husband, Don, adopted three boys from Haiti, doubling their family in a matter of months. Today the couple has joined the ranks of empty-nesters, living in Tennessee near five of their adult children.

Lorna Dueck

Lorna was a regular commentary writer on faith and public life in Canada’s leading national newspaper, The Globe and Mail, and is a frequent media commentator. She has travelled the world reporting on church-led response to humanitarian crisis.

Lorna earned a Master of Arts in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College. She has received honorary doctorate degrees from Trinity, Tyndale and Briercrest Universities. Lorna has received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for contributions to Canadian society.

Lorna and her husband Vern live in the Toronto suburbs, have been married over three decades, and delight in the adventures of their grown son and daughter.
